Retail & Admissions Supervisor Job

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are recruiting for a Retail & Admissions Supervisor to assist in the smooth operational running of the retail and garden visitor attraction, ensuring focus on exceeding the expectations of the guests and delivering the best experience for all visitors.

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with, booking in and organising group bookings and coach tours.
  • Liaising with the other retail units and the café, run by Wright’s, to ensure the smooth running of the garden openings operation.
  • Processing day-to-day enquiries both over the phone and via email.
  • Keeping the visitor database up to date.
  • Duty management on special garden events such as Midsummer Nights.
  • Assisting with set up and duty management on event days, notably events that run outside of the garden opening season such as the Illuminated Garden Trail.

 

 

 

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a welcoming personality and a passion for providing a first-class customer experience whilst maintaining our high standards

  • Previous retail experience is a must and supervisory skills would be highly advantageous. An awareness of Health & Safety and compliance procedures would also be a distinct benefit
  • Excellent organisational skills, a great eye for detail and a good head for figures
  • Positive and flexible attitude, with the ability to think laterally and to problem solve
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong team player
  • Good IT skills
