New Job: Retail and Admissions Supervisor

Helmingham Hall Gardens are spectacular Grade 1 Listed gardens set within a 400 acre deer park, surrounding a moated Tudor Hall. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Seasonal Retail & Admissions Supervisor to join our team

The role incorporates overseeing the smooth running of the visitor admissions into our award winning gardens and retail facility as well as providing ongoing support to the wider team. This role focuses on extending a warm welcome and exit to our visitors whilst maximising all income opportunities. You will be confident in approaching visitors on arrival to promote sales of tickets and retail products, and ensure a consistently high standard of customer service by dealing with queries and processing transactions promptly and effectively. You will be responsible for the visitor journey from the point of arrival, through the retail area and surrounding gardens and grounds. You will have a great eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are clean, free from clutter and well presented, and that displays are replenished in a timely manner.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing a first class customer experience and maintaining our high standards. Previous retail experience is a must and supervisory skills would be highly advantageous. An awareness of Health & Safety and compliance procedures would also be a distinct benefit.

This is a 23 week role beginning late April and will have the standard hours of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 9:30am to 17:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break (plus Bank Holidays and extended hours on event days). A flexible approach to rostered days and times would be desirable, as extra hours throughout the season may become available.
